Memory errors or lapses
Quote from Kate on March 30, 2023, 3:12 pmCould anyone talk about problems of memory of any kind— short term, name, face, place finding, attention distraction type of memory or when it just scatters.
I find even friends think of Alzheimer’s serious illness when seeing memory errors. This is frustrating as I recall studying memory and it’s problems are more complex.
I’m not sure which types of brain injuries create this, but suspect it’s likely hemorrhagic strokes more often than ischemic, also falls, bumps, crashes, neck injuries like whip lash might create errors in naming and memory lapses.
What say you from your experience and how you cope with others judgements as well as their impatience.
Thanks! I’m looking for better ways to cope, I’ve been working on it ten years and still amazed. It’s of course worse coping since years of COVID, manners seem to have regressed. 😟
